I had the wonderful opportunity to visit my good friend "Shipwreck Jim" on his 87th birthday at Cleft of the Rock Lighthouse which is located alongside Cape Perpetua on the Oregon Coast. Jim a longtime shipwreck and lighthouse historian and author, and gave me my nickname "Shipwreck Bob" many years ago in recognition of my own accomplishments in researching and exploring shipwrecks. It was a real honor.
