When I was in Santa Barbara on November 13, little did I know that a small fire I was observing on the hillside of Montecito would ultimately spread and burn several homes.
Over the course of just a few hours many homes were ablaze. I tried to capture the moment with my camera.
This week I learned two close friends lost everything.
