During my travels every once in awhile I discover a special place that I must park the car, grab the camera and explore. One of these locations was Stonington on Deer Isle along the coast of Maine. When I arrived in November I found a bustling lobster fishing community and only a few tourist. I located a great hotel, each room with a wonderful view of the working harbor and a granite fireplace... a great opportunity to disconnect from the rest of the world.
