Probably one of my most published shipwreck photographs is the USS Macaw at Midway Atoll. In 1944 the submarine rescue vessel grounded on a coral reef while underway to attempt to assist the U.S. submarine Flier. Diver John Brooks is recording the wreck in high-definition video in 2005.
